Terri Pellitteri, OT
Tai Chi Instructor
Tai Chi is a mindful practice that combines breath and movement to cultivate chi (life force) for internal and external balance, physical health and peace of mind. Terri believes this integration of mind, breath and action can enhance one's sense of well-being and health.
Tai Chi requires us to be mindful, slow our movements and be aware of our breath. Through this, you can restore physical health, regain strength and flexibility, and manage depression, anxiety or pain.
Terri enjoys working with adults and adolescents, and finds the practice of Tai Chi can benefit all ages. She is interested in helping people use Tai Chi to bring their bodies and minds to a place of balance.
Terri has been studying Tai Chi since 1994 at a school called Yen-nien Daoguan in Madison , where she is also a teacher. She traveled to Taiwan to study under a Tai Chi master and has attended several intensive workshops. Terri has also worked in the mental health field for over 30 years and has training as an occupational therapist.
