Maruti Landau’s yoga classes have a gentle, inward, breath centered focus. She creates a safe and supportive environment in her classes that invites self-exploration and cultivates self-acceptance. Students are reminded to always be respectful of their body’s level of flexibility.
For the past few years, Maruti has had a special interest in teaching women how to utilize specific yoga practices to help reduce common perimenopausal symptoms. A key emphasis in Maruti’s classes is experiencing the powerful effect of mindful deep breathing. Students leave her class feeling more flexible, deeply relaxed, emotionally at peace and physically revived. Yoga can also help maintain strong bones, calm the mind and body and deepen sleep.
Maruti is a certified professional-level Kripalu Yoga Teacher and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist with over 25 years of practice and training in the areas of yoga, yoga therapy, meditation and massage. She has also been trained to teach yoga and natural medicine for menopause and safe yoga for skeletal health. Maruti was so profoundly affected by her own healing and transformation through yoga that she wanted to share it with others.
