Lisa O’Connor infuses her teaching with a creative passion for the breadth of all that yoga embodies. Her teaching style integrates eclectic elements from her background in spirituality, dance, music, and art.
Lisa has been living yoga for over a decade. She has a fully integrated classical and contemporary practices of meditation, relaxation techniques and energetic breath work. Most students who have engaged in Lisa’s teachings have experienced positive, life-transforming results on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.
Lisa has engaged in yoga study with many master teachers. She has received training from Baron Baptiste and is commited to ongoing teacher training with Shiva Rea and Yogiraj Rod Stryker in the tradition of pure yoga.
Lisa O’Connor was first introduced to yoga as small child at the Jordan Academy of Dance where she was a ballerina for many years. Her love for the human body, movement and healing informed her calling and passion for the yoga path. Lisa is also a passionate gardener and wholefoods cook.
