Khadija Zayed believes that people are much more than their biology and to achieve effective healing, they need to address their mind, spirit and emotions. Khadija has a great deal of respect for a person’s innate healing process and her method of practice supports and further empowers that process in each individual.

By incorporating the Eastern modalities of Reiki and Zen Shiatsu with Therapeutic Massage in her practice, Khadija is confident that she can address a wide range of problems in many patient populations. Patients usually feel more centered, empowered and peaceful.

Khadija strives for balance in all areas of her life and Reiki and massage are the tools she uses to maintain that balance. She is a Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher and a Certified Massage Therapist with a strong emphasis on Zen Shiatsu. She graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Boulder, Colorado and has a B.A. in Communications from the University of Illinois - Chicago.
