*GHC-SCW’s Complementary Medicine Benefit
Services provided within the Center by a GHC-SCW Complementary Medicine practitioner are limited to 50% of the first $750 in eligible charges, with a maximum payment by GHC-SCW of $375 per member per calendar year. Members who find these services beneficial are welcome to visit the Complementary Medicine and Wellness Center on a fee-for-service basis after their benefit has been exhausted.
Please Note: GHC-SCW’s Complementary Medicine benefit applies only to practitioners’ services and not to supplies or herbal remedies. Although this benefit is available to all GHC-SCW members, State regulations prevent GHC-SCW from offering this benefit to patients covered under GHC-SCW’s Medicare Select Plan. Medicare Select patients are welcome to visit the Complementary Medicine and Wellness Center on a fee-for-service basis.
GHC-SCW is pleased to be the area’s first health plan to offer its members a benefit for Complementary Medicine services.
