Judy Quam considers herself a Master of Relaxation Massage. Through years of experience, continuing education and her personal healing journey; she has developed her massage and Reiki work into an exquisitely memorable healing moment. She has found that it is through relaxation massage that the giver and receiver of massage learn about one another. Together both can then travel with ease into deeper levels of healing with more lasting results.
Judy focuses on the healing of fibromyalgia through
massage therapy. Fibromyalgia is a syndrome with a
myriad of symptoms such as fatique, chronic pain, anxiety
and depression. She knows how one can feel when affected
by these symptoms and therefore knows what will help
treat them.
Judy has incorporated both hot and cold stone therapy into her
technique. The stones are ideal for relieving tension and calming
the central nervous system. Cold stone and hot stones alternating
are ideal for pain relief and excellent therapy for a number of problems
including Fibromyalgia.
Judy graduated from the Lakeside School of Natural Therapeutics in Milwaukee in 1994 and has 11 years experience as a massage therapist. She has attended workshops on Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology, CranioSacral Therapy, Aromatherapy, Lymphatic Massage and Process Acupressure to name a few.
Judy’s life is dedicated to healing. She enjoys the wonders
of nature, art and music. Her studies of Art History at
UW-Madison have taught her about the richness and
beauty of the world we live in. Life experience has taught
her to live it with appreciation, joy and love.
