Jim Esselman’s specialties are Swedish massage and Trigger Point, as well as muscle energy techniques for specific medical conditions. Jim uses hot stone therapy in some sessions. The stones help iron out sore muscles, calm the central nervous system and increase blood flow to the muscle tissue.
Jim trained in massage at Madison Area Technical College in 2001, and received of Trigger Point training in 2003. In 2002 he was certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
Jim’s life is a model for his practice. After experiencing the negative effects of stress in his former career as a financial manager, Jim sought relief and was healed through therapeutic bodywork. Jim also enjoys spending time with his wife Sandy and their children and grandchildren.
